These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website, platform, and services related to solar panel installation under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting an application, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

Eligibility

To use our services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (users under 18 cannot select loan payment options)
  • Be a legal resident of India with valid government-issued identification
  • Own or have legal rights to the property where solar panels will be installed
  • Have an active electricity connection in your name
  • Meet the eligibility criteria for PM Surya Ghar Yojana
  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration and application

Services Provided

SageOdisha provides:

  • Platform access for PM Surya Ghar Yojana solar installation applications
  • Subsidy calculator tools for system cost estimation
  • Coordination of site inspections and installation services
  • Application tracking and status updates
  • Facilitation of government subsidy processing
  • Customer support and technical assistance
  • Document upload and management services
  • Installation progress monitoring

User Responsibilities

As a user of our platform, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information in your application
  • Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Upload only genuine and legally obtained documents
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes
  • Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform's functionality
  • Complete required consents and acknowledgments before proceeding with applications
  • Provide accurate location data for site inspections
  • Cooperate with installers and inspection personnel

Application Process

Step 1: Registration - Create an account with valid phone number and OTP verification

Step 2: Pre-Requisites - Complete consent forms, upload required documents (identity proof, electricity bill, property documents, banking details), and provide address and solar system preferences

Step 3-7: Installation phases including site inspection, approval, panel installation, net metering, and commissioning

You must complete all required fields and obtain necessary approvals at each step. Applications may be rejected if information is inaccurate or incomplete.

Payment and Pricing

Current pricing structure (subject to change):

  • Commercial: ₹55,000 per kW
  • Domestic Standard: ₹70,000 per kW
  • Domestic Heightened Customised: ₹80,000 per kW
  • Domestic Flagship: ₹95,000 per kW

Payment options include cash or loan (for users 18 years and above). Government subsidies will be processed according to PM Surya Ghar Yojana guidelines and disbursed directly to eligible applicants.

Final costs may vary based on site conditions, system specifications, and government policy changes. All prices are subject to applicable taxes.

Government Subsidy Disclaimer

Subsidy amounts and eligibility are determined by government authorities and PM Surya Ghar Yojana guidelines. SageOdisha acts as a facilitator and cannot guarantee subsidy approval or specific subsidy amounts. Subsidy processing timelines are subject to government procedures and may vary. We are not responsible for any changes, delays, or denials in subsidy disbursement by government agencies.

Intellectual Property

All content on the SageOdisha platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design elements, is the property of SVADHISHTHANA GREEN ENERGIES or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any content without our express written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We are not responsible for third-party actions (installers, government agencies, etc.)
  • We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for our services
  • We do not guarantee specific energy generation or savings results

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services at any time, without notice, for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem necessary. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease. You may also request account deletion by contacting us, subject to legal data retention requirements.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SVADHISHTHANA GREEN ENERGIES, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with Indian arbitration laws. The venue for arbitration shall be Bhubaneswar, Odisha. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
